Sparwood Pet Attraction Tree Substitute Grant

The Sparwood’s District Animal Attractant Tree Substitute Grant is a voluntary program supposed to assist residents who want to take away and change a tree on their property that bears fruit or nuts that appeal to wildlife.

This program is a part of the district’s ongoing efforts to cut back human / wildlife battle.

This program gives $ 125 for every enticing tree changed with an unattractive tree on a first-come, first-served foundation, so long as the funds stay. WildSafeBC runs a free program referred to as Elk Valley Fruit Tree Elimination Subsidy Program to subsidize the elimination of enticing timber.
